Bushfire Relief and Recovery Workers - Counts for Second and Third WHV - Narooma, NSW
The Government announced changes to the Working Holiday Maker (WHM) visa program to assist communities to recover from recent bushfires.
Under these changes, backpackers are be able to count paid work on bushfire recovery efforts in a declared disaster area as “specified work” towards eligibility for a second or third working holiday visa.
This will include recovery work currently being undertaken by WHMs in these areas.
We are hiring backpackers for relief and recovery efforts in the areas outside Narooma, New South Wales. Narooma is a 5 hour drive south from Sydney.
All work is paid hourly at the rate of $25.50/hr.
Accommodation in town can be arranged in town, and daily transportation to and from the disaster areas will be arranged for you. Both the accommodation and transportation will be provided for free.
Please send your applications in and we will be in touch with those we see fit for the jobs.
